Skiing Taos in New Mexico

Kachina Peak
12,481 ft | 3,804 m
Taos, New Mexico
Kachina Peak is 12,481 ft tall, located on the backside of Taos Ski Valley. The peak used to be hike only terrain. There is now a lift to the top and you can lap it on a good day usually later in the season. It’s amazing expert terrain with a great view of Wheeler Peak which is the highest in New Mexico at 13,161 ft / 4,011 meters.
